AI Impact WriterThe fruit

Impact reports drafted from your data, and nothing else.

AI Impact Writer drafts reports, dashboards and stories from your registers, field data and field notes, with every number linked to its source and the limits of the evidence stated. Your program head edits and approves before anything is shared.

1. What changed for children

Between the baseline in April and the mid-line in October, the share of children who can read a simple paragraph rose from 31% to 54%[1], measured on the same 2,986 children[2] assessed at both points.

Limits of this evidence. Assessments were run by our own field team. 226 children were not reassessed. An external evaluation is planned for the end-line.
“She now reads the school notice board to her grandmother.” Field note, Kreeri. Name changed, consent recorded.

Your data only

Numbers and stories come only from records in your workspace.

Every number sourced

Click any figure to see the data it came from.

People approve

No report is shared until a named person approves it.

The fruit

Fruit is what the tree gives back. Report it as it is.

AI Impact Writer is one part of a single record. What you enter here is used by the other modules, so nobody types the same thing twice.

Report drafts

Quarterly, mid-year and annual reports in the structure your funder asks for, drafted in minutes from live data.

Linked sources

Each figure carries a citation to the dataset, round and filter used. Reviewers can check any claim.

Stories from field notes

Short stories drawn from field notes where story consent is recorded, with names changed by default.

Stated limits

Who collected the data, how many were missed, and what has not been independently checked, written in plain words.

Funder dashboards

Live charts for a grant, shared with a CSR funder as a read-only link on the Banyan plan.

English and Hindi

Drafts in English or Hindi, with the same numbers and sources in both.

How it works

How a report is made

  1. 1

    Choose the template

Pick the funder's format or your own. Set the period and program.

  2. 2

    AI drafts from data

Figures, charts and consented stories are pulled from your records with sources.

  3. 3

    Program head edits

Change wording, add context, remove anything that does not belong.

  4. 4

    Approve and share

The approver's name and date are recorded. Then it goes to the funder.

Honest by design

The AI will not make your impact look bigger than it is.

Funders have read too many reports where every program is transformational. AI Impact Writer is built the other way: it reports what your data shows, says what it does not show, and leaves claims about causation to your team.

  • No invented numbers, quotes, names or stories
  • Before and after compared only on matched records
  • Sample sizes and missing data stated next to results
  • Words like 'transformed' or 'eradicated' flagged for review

Time back for the field

Spend reporting season in the villages, not in spreadsheets.

A program team often loses weeks to every reporting cycle: pulling numbers, chasing field notes, formatting charts. The draft takes minutes, so the time goes into reviewing it properly.

Our commitments

Responsible AI commitments

These rules are built into AI Impact Writer and cannot be switched off.

Only your real data

The AI uses only records in your organisation's workspace. It does not invent numbers, people or stories.

Limits stated

Every report includes the limits of the evidence: who collected it, what is missing and what has not been verified.

People review every report

Nothing is shared without a named person's approval, recorded with the date.

Consent checked

Stories and photos are used only where consent is on record, with names changed where needed.

Your data is not used to train models

Your records are used to draft your reports and for nothing else.

Hosted in India

Data is encrypted and hosted in India by default.

Questions

About AI Impact Writer

Will the AI exaggerate our impact?

No. It uses only your data, links every number to its source, and states the limits of the evidence. Wording that overstates results is flagged for your review.

Can it write stories about beneficiaries?

Only from field notes where story consent is recorded. Names are changed by default and identifying details are removed.

Who is responsible for the final report?

Your organisation. The AI writes a draft; a named person in your team edits and approves it before it is shared.

Is our data used to train AI models?

No. Your data is used only to draft your organisation's reports.
