01Who may use the platform
The platform is for NGOs, trusts, societies, Section 8 companies, foundations, CSR teams and their implementation partners. The person signing up must be authorised to accept these terms for the organisation.
02Your workspace and your data
- Your organisation owns all program data it records: donors, grants, beneficiaries, field data, volunteers, reports and documents.
- You give us permission to store and process that data only to provide the service.
- You can export your data at any time in Excel and CSV formats.
03Your responsibilities
- Collect beneficiary data only with informed consent and record it in the platform.
- Share stories and photos only where consent allows, and change names where needed to protect people.
- Keep login credentials secure and remove users who leave your organisation.
- Use the platform lawfully, and not to store data you have no right to hold.
04AI Impact Writer
AI Impact Writer drafts reports from data in your workspace. Drafts can contain errors. A person in your organisation must review and approve every report before it is shared, and your organisation is responsible for the final content and any claims made to funders.
05Compliance records
Compliance Vault stores records and sends reminders based on dates you enter. It does not file returns or applications. Filings for 12A, 80G, CSR, FCRA and other registrations remain the responsibility of your organisation and its auditors or chartered accountant. Nothing on the platform is legal or tax advice.
06Plans, billing and changes
- Seedling is free within its limits: one program and up to 500 beneficiaries.
- Sapling and Banyan are billed per program per month, monthly or yearly in advance.
- The grassroots discount applies to organisations with an annual budget under ₹50 lakh, confirmed with audited accounts.
- We give at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect on your plan.
07Availability and support
We work to keep the platform available and back up data daily. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. Field Collect continues to work offline during any interruption, and data syncs once service resumes.
08Suspension and termination
You can close your workspace at any time. We may suspend a workspace that is used unlawfully or puts other users at risk, and will tell you why. After closure, the workspace is read-only for 90 days for export, then deleted.
09Liability
The platform is provided as described on this website. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees your organisation paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions made on the basis of reports your organisation approved.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Jammu and Kashmir.
