About plans and billing
What counts as a program?
A program is a body of work with its own beneficiaries, activities and usually its own funding, such as a reading program across 40 schools. Sub-projects in different villages under the same program do not count separately.
Is the Seedling plan really free?
Yes. One program with up to 500 beneficiaries, Donor Desk, Beneficiary Register and Field Collect, with no time limit and no card needed.
Who qualifies for the grassroots discount?
Registered NGOs, trusts and Section 8 companies with an annual budget under ₹50 lakh. We confirm it with your last audited accounts, and the 50% discount applies to Sapling and Banyan.
What happens to our data if we stop paying?
Your workspace moves to read-only for 90 days and you can export everything in Excel and CSV. Your data is never held back.
Can CSR teams pay for their partners?
Yes. On Banyan, a CSR team can sponsor workspaces for its implementation partners, with each partner keeping control of its own beneficiary data.
Do you invoice in rupees?
Yes. Indian organisations can be invoiced in rupees with GST. Prices are shown in US dollars for international organisations.
